I had the pleasure of interviewing So So Def recording artist Dondria over last weekend in Washington DC. This soulful darling and I chatted about her newfound fame after being discovered by production mogul Jermaine Dupri stemming from her huge YouTube following. Dondria also defines what success really means to her, explains why she is not feeling tons of pressure as a new So So Def artist and the difference between herself and her mixtape persona Phatfffat.
For a brand new artist, Ms. Dondria has a lot of good things to say. I would have kept the camera rolling and the conversation going if we had the time.
